Tromsø — where a warm cup is a small celebration

Far north in Norway, around 350 kilometres above the Arctic Circle, lies Tromsø. In winter the sun doesn’t rise for weeks — Norwegians call it the polar night — and in summer it doesn’t set at all. The city is surrounded by mountains and fjords, and on clear winter evenings the sky can suddenly start dancing in green.

When the days are short and cold, the small rituals become big ones. Coffee on the way out the door. The mug you hold with both hands while you wait for the bus, or for the northern lights to appear. Warmth you can take with you — that’s the feeling we wanted to capture.

That’s why the travel mug carries the name Tromsø Edition. It keeps coffee hot for about six hours, has a click lid you can open with one hand and holds a proper cup: 340 ml. Made for dark mornings, commutes and breaks when you just need to catch your breath.

You don’t need to travel to the Arctic Circle to use it. But maybe you’ll think of Tromsø the next time you’re holding a warm cup on a cold morning.
